Peer Support Program

Mission Statement

Unexpected medical outcomes can adversely affect not only the patient, the patient’s family, but the caregivers responsible for the patient. The Mount Auburn’s Peer Support Program provides support for health care professionals and staff who have been involved in unanticipated medical events. The trained personnel in the Peer Support Program represent all disciplines in the hospital community and have volunteered to be a supportive presence for the person affected by negative events.
